Reflecting on a Milestone: Our Successful Hybrid Symposium
We are thrilled to share that our first-ever hybrid symposium, held on July 14, 2024, was a resounding success! This event brought together leading experts in the field of geriatric care, both in person and virtually, to discuss critical topics impacting elderly care today.
Expert Insights and Enlightening Discussions
The symposium featured an impressive lineup of speakers who provided valuable insights and the latest research findings in their respective areas of expertise. We were honored to have Dr. Tan Guan Hee, who enlightened us about the latest advancements in PSA and prostate cancer. Dato Dr. Azmee Ghazi shared his profound knowledge on managing heart failure in the elderly, offering practical advice and innovative treatment options.
Additionally, our discussions on frailty and falls were expertly handled by Dr. Edward Chong and Dr. Chong San San, whose presentations were both informative and thought-provoking. Dr. Teh Hoon Lang’s session on dementia provided crucial strategies for care and management, resonating deeply with many attendees.
The symposium also featured a special segment on sexual health in the golden years by Dr. Ngoo Kay Seong, which was highly appreciated for its open and sensitive approach to the subject.
